Manager Duties
Managers Duties before and after games at Lakeview Little League fields.
Home team manager needs to get two chairs, Pencil, scorebook and score box to the field. If you are a 6 O'clock game, leave the score box and chairs at the fields unless there is no game after you.
Home team managers for 8 O'clock game need to get Pencil and score book to field. When game is finished, home team manager needs to make sure that score box, chairs and scorebook get put back in the consession stand.
Consession stand duties
Team Managers are responsible for getting volunteers to the consession stand by 5:45. The consession stand will be open until 9 each night.
Someone needs to be there as early as possible to get the consession stand open and food warming/cooked, so that we are ready to start selling as soon as the windows are opened.
Here is a list of duties that need to be done before the consessions stand is opened.
Get Chili, cheese and BBQ in crockpots.
Put ice in Fountain drink machine. (Ice needs to be in fountain drink machine as soon as possible, so that it starts cooling down.)
Get grill started, get hotdogs and hamburgers started cooking.
Get fryers turned on and heating up.
Fry cheese sticks and fries. (These go quickly, so it is best to get some done before you open up.)
Closing duties
You can stop cooking about 8:30 and start cleaning up. Just don't close the windows until 9:00pm. Wash all dishes and put all food up. Make sure the floor is swept before leaving.
Wipe down counter tops in cooking area.
Bring in grill.
